About the Program

At Viking, our goal is to create fire protection product training that results in durable learning and lasting knowledge — something achieved through applicable, accessible and engaging programs. With innovative technologies and training approaches, our state-of-the-art training facility offers cutting-edge approaches to learning, including a variety of immersive labs.

Our Oxeo Clean Agent Extinguishing Systems training explores an environmentally sustainable solution that protects damage-sensitive equipment, applications and products from fire and from secondary damage. 

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this seminar the attendee will be able to:

  1. Identify application, safety concerns, and terms in NFPA 2001, review discharge video, and system differences in pressure.
  2. Navigate operational/installation manuals.
  3. Test and inspection procedures per NFPA and manufacturer's requirements.
  4. Understand piping and racking review.
  5. Viking Oxeo Estimator Review
  6. Pressure venting intro and discussion.
  7. Discuss how to use the estimating tool and the vInert software for Nitrogen and Argon gas systems. 
  8. And more!

Schedule

This program will be held at the Viking Learning Center located at 5150 Beltway Dr SE, Caledonia, MI 49316.

Seminar format will include lectures, activities and hands-on labs and demonstrations. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for each day of the training. 

Individuals participating in this training program are strongly encouraged to wear clothing favorable to hands-on training. Closed toe, closed heel and flat sole shoes are required.

Day 2

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • Viking Tools for Revit - Server Room Design Example
  • Multizone System Overview and Design Example
  • Review of Viking VFR-500 Conventional Release
  • Review of Potter ARC-100 Addressable Release Control Panel
  • Final Review and Test
